Kalsi achieves leading CodeMark product certification for the Australian and New Zealand markets

We are proud and excited to announce that Kalsi products are CodeMark certified now.

Not one, but four products-KalsiCTU, KalsiWAB, KalsiGroove, and KalsiFlex-received the product certification, a strong testament of product assurance in compliance with the Australian and New Zealand Building Code.

The CodeMark Certification Scheme (CodeMark) is a voluntary third-party building product certification scheme, administered by the Australian Building Codes Board (ABCB). CodeMark is designed to provide confidence and certainty to regulatory authorities and the market through the issue of a Certificate of Conformity.

KalsiCTU, also known as Ceramic Tile Underlay, is a 6 mm thick fibre cement board used for ceramic tile backer board for dry construction. The board is designed using a stable and robust substrate with resistance to moisture and mould caused by humidity. It is ideal for use in wet areas and tiling systems on timber or reconstituted wood-based substrates due to its delaminating strength at moisture.

KalsiWAB is a 9 mm thick fibre cement board that has very low moisture movement, making it an excellent base for ceramic and stone tiling, painting, or any other wall finish. It is highly suitable for high traffic and wet areas, areas that require impact resistance and moisture resistance simultaneously.

KalsiFlex comes in a variety of thicknesses that are suitable for different applications, from ceilings, partitions, eave lining, gable ends, to external wall cladding.

KalsiGroove will be the latest product that adds beautiful and artistic touches to interior wall finishings, resembling a classic tongue and groove panel. All our fibre cement boards are produced using autoclave technology that ensures the final product has optimum dimensional stability and high durability.
